Franky and Jada

Laguna Beach, CA.

Franky and Jada are just so precious together! Jada is a close friend of mine and a fellow photographer, I love working alongside her and getting creative but having her in front of my lens was so fun! This session took place at Crystal Cove State Beach which you do need a permit for in order to take photos there, which most beaches in Laguna Beach do require a permit for photoshoots. But it is worth getting and also worth the drive from San Diego, because this beach was gorgeous!

I've included the link to the website where you can visit to find out more information on obtaining a permit.

Something that is becoming increasingly more popular (as it should) are elaborate beach picnics. If you're on social media I'm sure you've seen at least one post with a cute picnic display, they seem to be everywhere right now and are such a fun thing to include in your engagement or couple's session! I am a huge proponent for making your session feel like a date, whether that's heading downtown and getting dressed to the nines (and of course going to a bougie restaurant afterwards), stopping for an ice cream cone, bringing some long boards along to your shoot, or having a picnic with a yummy charcuterie basket! I think adding an element to make your session feel more laid back can bring out even more natural emotions, smiles, comfortability, and fun!

Dote Productions set up this picnic and it was picture perfect! Merced, the owner of the Dote Weddings and Events is a fantastic planner and can bring a vision to life flawlessly, getting to work along side her was so much fun!
That amazing charcuterie basket was made by Its Grazey, and yes it was just as delicious as it looks!

If you have an idea for a couple's or your engagement session, message me I would LOVE to chat with you about your vision, I have so much fun helping my couples bring their visions to life.
