Valentines Day Inspired Styled Shoot

This styled shoot was a dream come true... literally! When I started planning this shoot I just had one goal in mind, I just wanted to have fun and work along some of the coolest vendors that I admire. This day exceeded every expectation and sparked so much passion in me. Every single vendor and photographer made this day an absolute blast. It was truly perfect in my eyes.
I couldn't recommend each vendor enough!!!

The venue, LUCE on Kettner was the best space to work with! Not only is the natural lighting fantastic but it's a venue that offers a blank canvas to bring any dream to life, which I love since every couple has their own wedding day vision. Leah Mai with Mai Floral Design was an absolute dream to work with. When I originally inquired about the opportunity to collaborate she was not only so quick to respond, but was such a sweetheart! Not even 10 minutes after I sent the first email we were on the phone and chatting all about the shoot and what i had in mind. I gave her some ideas but I told her I just wanted her to have fun with it and create something that she wanted... she did FANTASTIC. My husband was there helping me setup and he's not one to obsess over flowers (like myself) and he couldn't stop saying how amazing they were!
Catalog Atelier and Folklore supplied the table and lounge setup rentals, they were absolutely stunning and tied the whole look together. I want those pink velvet armchairs to live at my dining table! Rachel and Latisha were on hair and makeup and brought the whole bridal look together. Not only are they two of the sweetest people but they brought such a calming energy and it was just what I needed, and I know it helped Lysa (the best model ever)!

I really tried to hone in on unique additions to a wedding day. when I thought about ideas, I wanted to work with vendors who brought fun elements! I knew that a bounce house would be such a neat touch but I wasn't sure how to still make it classy, well Inflate San Diego was the answer! I'm convinced every wedding needs an inflatable, whether there's kiddos there or not. Whether you want mock-tails, cocktails, or Diet Coke, The Native Tap is the perfect vendor for all your drink needs. Their bar is absolutely adorable and the owners are so kind and easy to work with! The perfect compliment to the champagne glasses and tablescape was the signage by Jamboree Designs, it really brought the table to life! If you don't have cotton candy by Swoonful currently on your vendor list for your wedding, you need to add it! Yes, I did try the cotton candy (a lot of it) and it was delicious! Have you seen those amazing marquee letters at weddings or parties that spell out cute phrases or initials?! Well Alpha Lit San Diego is phenomenal to work with and added such a fun aspect to the shoot, I definitely think they're another great addition to any wedding day, or even bridal shower, or rehearsal dinner! Carin with Balloon Caviar works magic, I mean how awesome is the balloon garland?! It really brings such a fun element and I think brings the party to life and it's another way to bring out the wedding colors. Last but definitely not least, was the food vendors... We all know that food might just be one of the most important because who likes hangry guests? I reached out to Christina after seeing her cakes at the San Diego Bridal Bazaar, they're absolutely incredible. I told her the theme but let her take total creative control over what she created and honestly it couldn't have been better. It was so thought out and every single petal on every single flower is hand crafted AND edible! She is so unbelievably talented! So we all know that charcuterie boards are the talk of town right now, rightfully so. I don't know about you but there's something so satisfying (and delicious) about charcuterie boards. Mhai and Boards made the most beautiful and tasty board ever! Seriously it was delicious. Whether you want a board, charcuterie cones, or something else you have in mind she's your gal!
